And when they tell you that they think they know what makes you tick

There's this documentary that has been airing on Sundance about Karl Rove. Apparently in 1970 he sabotaged the democratic candidate for Texas Governer's campaign. Right before the election Rove planted a recording device in his office and then blamed it on the democrat candidate. The case was hardly even investigated and was closed soon after.

I'm not sure how powerful Rove is in the administration today, but I guess he had a lot to do with both of Bush's campaign. If he had went to jail like he should have back in the 70's, Bush probably would not be our president right now.

After hearing things like this, I start to think "I should atleast try to do something about this" but then I come to my senses and realize how dirty of a job that would be and decide I'd rather just leave the country in a few years. Of course, that's the reason why we are in this mess to begin with. Too many educated, virtuous, and intelligent people are too cynical and jaded to do anything about the things they hate.
